The Three Nights Camel Trek in Morocco is one of the best options for those who want to experience the magic of the Sahara Desert and live like nomads for several days. This trek offers ample opportunities to appreciate Morocco's most stunning sunsets and sunrises, admire the starry night sky, and participate in activities such as Sandboarding and ATV quad biking.
Additionally, you will have the chance to visit a Berber nomad family and learn about their way of life in the Desert. Join us for an unforgettable experience in the Moroccan Sahara on our Merzouga 3-night camel ride.
Experience an unforgettable 3-night camel trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes with Berber hospitality.
Upon arrival at our hotel in Merzouga, you will leave your car in a secure parking spot and pack only the essentials for your nights in the Desert. Around two hours before sunset, your camel trek will begin, taking you deep into the heart of the Sahara.
The trek lasts approximately one and a half hours and offers the chance to witness one of Morocco's most beautiful sunsets. If you're interested, you can try sandboarding during the trek. We will take a break in the Sahara for photos and to admire the landscape until sunset, after which we will continue to the camp.
Upon arrival, our staff will welcome you with a glass of mint tea and give you time to relax before dinner. After dinner, enjoy traditional Berber drumming music around the fire. Then, enjoy the starry sky before settling in for the night at a Berber tent camp.
We recommend waking up early to catch the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will trek for a few hours toward our next destination, stopping for lunch at a small oasis in the middle of the dunes.
The second night, we will spend at the home of a Berber nomad family, where you can enjoy traditional food and gain insights into the Berber nomadic lifestyle in the Sahara.
We will rise early again to watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast before embarking on a 1.5 to 2-hour camel trek to our next camp location. We will enjoy a Moroccan lunch in the shade of a tree in the Desert, and you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the dunes. After watching the sunset, you will enjoy a delicious traditional meal and a comfortable night's sleep.
We suggest getting up early on your final morning to capture beautiful sunrise photos. After enjoying this lovely moment, you will have a delicious breakfast and a chance to shower at the camp. Following that, you will either trek back to the starting point, or we can arrange for direct transportation from the camp to the Merzouga village.
