Upon meeting in Merzouga, you will park your car in a secure parking lot and pack all necessary items for your evening in the Sahara Desert. The Merzouga overnight camel trek begins in the late afternoon, approximately two hours before sunset, and takes you deep into the heart of the desert dunes.
The trek lasts about an hour and a half, allowing you to enjoy one of Morocco's most beautiful sunsets. If you're interested, you can also try your hand at sandboarding. During the trek, we will take a break in the Sahara to capture pictures and enjoy the stunning landscapes until sunset.
Afterward, you will continue to the camp, where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea.
As Berbers ourselves, we are excited to offer you an authentic evening in the desert, complete with traditional food, music, and ample tent accommodations.
We recommend rising early the following morning to experience a magnificent sunrise over the dunes. After enjoying this breathtaking view, you can have a delicious breakfast and shower at the camp.
Following breakfast, you can ride the camels back to the starting location in Merzouga or transfer by 4WD directly from the camp to the village if you prefer not to ride again.

The trek departs in the late afternoon around 16:30–17:00, and you will return the next morning around 9:30 AM. This timing allows you to experience both the sunset and sunrise in the desert.
